Max Falamaki shot a net 70-69 over the weekend to claim the title of 2016 Braemar Net Winner in the Club Champion. Max also won the Sam Snead Flight besting second place by six strokes. Congratulations to Max for two straight days of scoring below net par.
Congratulations to Avio Piombetti on winning the Ben Hogan flight in the Club Championship. Avio posted net scores of 70 - 72 over the weekend edging Dan Dutil by one stroke. Avio finished a scant three strokes behind overall net winner Max Falamaki.
Former Men's Club President, Rick Gregory, posted a net 70 on the final day of competition to claim 1st place in the Byron Nelson Flight. Rick's 77 - 70 over the two day event allowed him to overcome Howard Rubin by two strokes. A "job well done" for Rick on his consistent play.
Joel Leebove's steady two day net scores of 72 - 71 was good enough to overcome Roberto Guglielmi by one stroke to claim 1st Place in the Ralph Guldahl flight. Congratulations to Joel for his win & entry into the year-end Tournament of Champions.
In one of the more exciting moments of the Club Championship weekend play, Bennett Salvay took a nine iron from his bag and hit a high, gentle draw into the par 3, #6 hole of the Masters course. He saw the ball hit the green and roll directly into the cup for an ace!
